Voting by mail
Texas limits voting by mail to specific categories of voter. Applications may be submitted as early as January 1 of the election year.
Accessible voting
Every polling place in Texas must meet accessibility standards, and every polling place offers at least one accessible voting system.

Caldwell County needs election workers for every election. Students aged 16 and over may serve as student election clerks.

Rules at the polling place
Electioneering is prohibited inside the protected area during the voting period, including expressing a preference for or against any candidate, measure or political party — whether or not it is on the ballot.
Texas Election Code §§ 61.003, 85.036. Handguns are prohibited in a polling place under § 46.03 of the Texas Penal Code.
